Hi! I’m Charlotte Brooks, and I love books.

I’ve loved to read and write since I could turn a page and hold a pen. As a young child, I wrote several short stories about Winnie the Pooh, Snow White, and Cinderella that were mostly plagiarism, but got me started on my writers journey.

I read so often that I had a favorite book I slept with each night, instead of a teddy bear, and I once told my parents I “knew about the tooth fairy” because the “books were in the fiction section” at the library.

Then a couple of years ago, as an adult with original ideas, I finally got around to writing a novel, putting pen to digital paper. That novel is now fully written and edited, and I’m hoping to find my dream agent match soon while I work on my next ideas.

The writing process has been so rewarding, and I hope to one day update this bio with a publishing date, publishing house, and who my agent is.
